Mined in the foothills of the world's second tallest peak in the
Karakoram Range in Pakistan, this granitic stone features bright blue
spots. K2 Granite, or K2 Jasper, as it is sometimes called, named
after that mountain and is a relatively new find. It is very visually
appealing as the bright blue spots leap off of the gray background. The
blue spots are Azurite.
We really enjoyed holding our pieces of
K2 Granite. It made us feel contentment. It reminded me of in the
summertime when you turn your pillow over to the cold side of the pillow
and it feels so good and cool on your cheek.
K2 Granite is very
grounding. It helps you release negativity and feel a since of well
being and inner stability. It also can facilitate communication.
