In ancient times, when Greeks and Romans attempted to discover who crafted the marvelous fabric called silk, they were told it was made by the silk-makers known as the "Seres." These mysterious people of the East were surrounded by myth and fable (they were giants with blond hair and blue eyes, they lived for 200 years, they made silk from the leaves of trees) and little of them was known for certain. Our Seres soap is embedded with silk, and scented with Chinese amber, Arabian sadalwood, and silky iris.
