I bought this deck to express my own inner cheap nature; no workshop necessary. I found out that one third of the deck is sideways, providing one oracle deck, the remaining upright cards are another deck, and combined they are a third deck. For the price, to have 3 oracle decks whose messaging is great, i am sooo happy.

I purchased this deck because I was drawn to colorful artwork and I was not disappointed when I received the deck. It is absolutely stunning. I did three reviews of the deck the first day I received it. The first walk through I was reviewing the images and the key words and picking out my favorite cards. I put them aside for a while and then reviewed each card again, reading some of the "meaning" information on the back of the cards. During both reviews, I was really drawn into the images. I think they would make great meditation tools. The third review, I focused on my intuitive impressions and then read the meaning on each card. Sometimes my intuitive interpretation differed, but that is ok. This is a mesmerizing deck.

During the third walk through, one card sent energy into my hand and arm and I had not felt that before, so I set it aside to meditate on it. It was "Tara's Midnight Visitation" and focusing on it for a few minutes, I became aware of what the message was about and worked on healing an issue with my grandmother. This issue came from out of the blue and wasn't on my radar.

Look and feel of the cards...

This is the largest oracle deck I have. The cards measure 5X6. I wouldn't attempt to ripple shuffle these cards. I don't think the artist intended for them to be ripple shuffled. I would using a tossing shuffle or fan the cards and choose from the deck. I don't know the paper weight, but I would define it as medium grade. I'm good with all of those qualities.

The cards do have a border. For this deck, it feels and looks right to have a border. Each card is an individual framed artwork and for me, I think the border pulls me into the image and helps me focus on what I'm seeing and feeling. I don't' think the images would be as powerful if they didn't have a border.

I'm going to buy a small folding stand so I can display the card I'm working with on my desk so I can revisit it throughout the day or week.
