This little potion

smells similarly to sweet, wild wine grapes, red musk, fig,

to be confused with the Spell of Stillness, the So Help Me is
for abetting patience with others and yourself. About to smack
that tart in the mouth, toss that cat flying out the window who
just barfed a hairball on your new sweater (you might want to

clumped up and nasty again? This is the brew for you! It will

She walks

Scarabs
Dug up on the Eve of Halloween, in the desert
of the Valley of the Golden Mummies burial site at Bahariya
Oasis, these crawling Scarabs are put in the finest linen bag
and carried back to the Alchemist of the Pharaoh. He puts his
hand in and carefully places them into a pot of sticky caramel
to coat their crunchy shell with the sweet intoxicating butter
and sugar and milk concoction.

Our
handcrafted chypre base of oakmoss absolute, labdanum absolute
and bergamot essential oil supports loads of warm, earthy
patchouli, brown leather, fine tobacco, a touch of agarwood and
sandalwood, frankincense and vanilla accord. It is a masculine
and complex scent that is very brown leather and tobacco heavy.
This is a strong, powerful, rich scent that is unabashed and
unafraid. Supporting notes of sandalwood, vanilla, agar and more
contribute additional depth. The leather and tobacco eventually
subside and meld with the chypre and the patchouli begins to
peak out. Great staying power, very strong.

MANOR PERFUME by Solstice Scents
Woody-Vanilla
Musk, Vanilla Accord, Glorious Black Agarwood & Exquisite
Aloeswood
Manor is the
scent of a once grand estate, now disheveled, forgotten and left
exposed to the elements. The faint scent of previous owners and
their esteemed guests - exquisitely perfumed ladies mingling
with the intense rich and musky scent of smartly dressed
gentlemen - meets rich wood floors and heavy wooden doors long
since opened, decaying beadboard and Wainscot topped off with a
thin layer of dust. It is very sophisticated and absolutely
intoxicating.
Manor is a blend of woody-vanilla musk coupled with an
incredible vanilla accord, glorious black agarwood and exquisite
aloeswood. The scent is sweet and rich due to the
vanillas, woody and incensey from the agar and aloeswood.
The black agarwood is literally to die for. On initial
application and coldsniff, the agar and aloeswood are a little
stronger than they are on the dry down. Manor settles down
wonderfully. After hours on the skin it does smell much sweeter
due to the vanillas, though the woody/incense element is still
detectable. Every single note in this blend is brand new to the
shop. The result is a very unique scent that still has the
familiar Solstice Scents profile. Fans of Old Cedar Magus will
enjoy Manor.

THORNWOOD THICKET by Solstice Scents
Sugared
Blackberries, Black Agarwood, Aloeswood, Sweet and Smokey
Guaiacwood & Amber
An impenetrable entanglement of
thick brambles and dangerously sharp thorny branches housing
large sweet blackberries that are practically to the bursting
point of ripeness. The scent is that of a sweet blackberry
paired with exotic incensey woods. The dry down smells like a
wonderful dark berry incense!
Thornwood Thicket is a blend of blackberry, black agarwood,
aloeswood, sweet and smokey guaiacwood and golden amber.
It starts out more powerfully blackberry with a small touch of a
grape note, but it doesn't take long for that to tone down and
the woods to softly come out. The wood components do get
stronger over time, especially after it has been on the skin for
a while. The blackberry has tremendous staying power, though it
does take a back seat to the woods. There is no fake berry smell
here on the dry down but rather a dark, rich berry note coupled
with exotic incensey woods. This is a very nice morpher and one
that begs for a skin test (do not judge it on cold sniff as the
true delicious blackberry note is not as apparent this way!).
All of the notes are brand new to the shop, with the exception
of the amber.
