Drawing from the ancient art of silhouette story telling that can be
traced back to the Han Dynasty of 200 BC China, artist Jason Long
has captured the excitement and celebration that many cultures enjoy at
the appearance of each full moon.
“In my years spent traveling the Caribbean islands, living, working and sharing with its indigenous peoples, nothing was as much fun and memorable to me as the full moon parties. Traditional food and music, local rum and dance would all come together around a blazing communal fire on the beach.
